The guy riding his twisted fork panhead chopper through the crash scene in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas was known as ‘The Deacon.’ After living a wild life in California, he retired to Arkansas, and wrote a book called The Adventures of Sledge Hammer “The Old Outlaw,” so if you run across it in a used book store, definitely snag it!
