Stay out of the Monfort lane!

There’s a reason the left lane is called the Monfort Lane. Named after the Monfort meat company of Greeley, Colorado, they had big strapper trucks that averaged over 100 MPH, so when you saw one coming, you best get the hell out of the way. They claimed delivery overnight for any load within 1,500 miles, which meant that these rigs had to run flat out, maintain two sets of logbooks, and drivers were often running with a little chemical enhancement to make these breakneck runs.
