Corky Carroll’s Baja Bug Board Mover

In 1978, Surfer Magazine published this pic of Corky Carroll, who was a staff member at the time, in old downtown Huntington Beach. With 40 surfboards stacked on his Baja Bug, the magazine challenged readers to exceed it and send in a photo… no word if anyone ever beat Corky’s stack, as it’s pretty impressive.
