“74 or More” was a term coined by Bill “Hillbilly” Hill in the sixties while he was hanging around Bell, California. He was asked what size his chopper’s modified engine was, and he answered simply “74, or more.” The phrase caught on, folks started using it, and before you knew it, the motorcycle world was smitten by it.
