Who doesn’t like a good scare? Believe it or not, horror films do more than just delight and disgust. When we step back and consider the genre’s rich and storied history, we begin to realize that (most) horror films actually reflect society’s collective anxieties throughout the decades by holding a mirror up to contemporary concerns.
