Getting internet connectivity from the telecom mega corporations and cable companies of the world as most do today is rather perfunctory, but during the ‘90s and even into the early 2000s, you could get internet service from countless ISP’s. Due to the lack of infrastructure needed to provide dial-up access, literally anyone could launch an ISP and one such example came from a very unlikely source – David Bowie. On Sept. 1, 1998, Bowie and the network services company UltraStar launched BowieNet in the United States with the rest of the world to follow. BowieNet proved to be an early foray into building a digital connection between celebrities and fans that would later be provided by way of the premium access sites, managed social media channels, and branded mobile apps that we all know today. The design is just dripping with the techno design style of the era, so whether you’re a Bowie fan, a hacker, or just a geek, this one should do it for you.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
