Established in 1898 in Clermont-Ferrand, France, Favor became known for making premium bicycles that became popular with cycle racing enthusiasts. Like many bicycle manufacturers, Favor looked towards transitioning to motorcycles, and in 1921, their first motorcycle, a 125cc two-stroke, went into production. The company built midrange two-strokes, single cylinder four-stroke SV, and OHV models with engines from JAP and Blackburne. After the Second World War they began using engines from AMC, Aubier-Dunne, Benelli, Alter, Ydral and others. Due to the turmoil experienced throughout the European motorcycle industry in the late ’50s as a result of the boom in small car sales, Favor ceased manufacturing motorcycles. Mopeds and motorized bicycles, along with cycles, remained in production. That same year, they became French champion in the 50cc and 100cc classes. Benelli came into the picture in 1960, with Favor selling their Favor-Benelli range of rebadged Italian 50s. All sales of motorized two-wheelers finally ceased in 1971, and the firm was shuttered in 1977.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.

*Heather colors are 52% combed and ring-spun cotton/48% polyester. Athletic and Black Heather is 90% combed and ring-spun cotton/10% polyester. Ash color is 99% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton and 1% poly. **Due to the nature of the printing process and different sizes of shirts offered, imprint position and scale may vary slightly from the product images, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible.
