Fisher’s Blend Flour 1910 Vintage Men’s T-Shirt

Seattle’s Fisher Flouring Mills was formed in 1910, and by the spring of 1911, their $400,000 mill was completed, a truly modern facility equipped to grind 10,000 bushels of wheat per day for a production capacity of 2,000 barrels of flour every 24 hours. The first wheat was ground on April 11 of that year, with the sale of flour to the public beginning in June. Once up and running, the flour mill operated 24 hours a day, six days a week, grinding wheat into flour for retail sale. The mill’s primary product was Fisher’s Blend Flour, which was exceedingly popular with amateur and professional bakers alike, who claimed Fisher’s proprietary blend made the flour easier to work with and gave their baked goods a lighter, flakier texture. Six years after the mill began operating it was expanded, with a new unit added to the existing two at a cost of $600,000. The addition increased the mill’s capacity from 2,000 barrels of flour per day to 5,000 barrels of flour per day, ranking the mill as the largest in the West.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
