In 1970, Stokely-Van Camp produced a thirst quenching chewing gum, marketing it as Gatorgum. The gum was manufactured by Fleer (the baseball card people), and was available in both lemon-lime and orange Gatorade flavors. The gum was invented with the intention of offering ‘hydration enhancement’ and the ‘prevention of dry mouth,’ though there is no information that the gum did either of these things. Regardless, people loved the gum, though its popularity began waning in the late ’70s, though lucky for Gatorgum fans, an ill timed long term manufacturing contract with Swell ensured the gum was still made until the late ’80s. Like clockwork, the gum was discontinued when the contract expired in 1989, and slowly began disappearing from store shelves over the coming years.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
