Haddonfield Memorial Softball Team 1978 Vintage Men’s T-Shirt

Haddonfield Memorial Hospital is located in Haddonfield, Illinois, and aside from being one of the region’s busiest hospitals, is home to the Haddonfield Memorial Softball Team, one of the winningest teams in the Illinois Softball League… well, until the fall of 1978. On Halloween that year, the hospital staff did not know that they would encounter the serial killer known as Michael Myers who would be in search of his sister, Laurie Strode. As he made his way through the hospital, he killed a security guard, a paramedic, a doctor, and four nurses. The doctor killed that night was Dr. Frederick Mixter – the team’s star player. The killing spree was terrible, but the real tragedy here is that subsequent softball seasons were awash in failure and the team would never again see another championship.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
