Joe’s Casino at the Black Cat 1933 Vintage Women’s T-Shirt

$29.95

The Black Cat was a popular Delaware dance hall that opened in 1933 and while dance halls of the day were primarily an all-ages affair, The Black Cat dedicated a section of their property for gambling, dining, and drinking under the name Joe’s Casino. Despite Joe’s popularity, WWII took its toll on a lot of businesses, including casinos. Wartime crowds waned and by the time the war was over, they had closed their doors for good before being demolished some time late in 1944.
