Nanu Nanu 1978 Vintage Kid’s T-Shirt

Mork & Mindy is an American sitcom television series that ran from September 14, 1978 to May 27, 1982. The show was a spin-off of a highly successful episode of Happy Days that starred Robin Williams as Mork, an extraterrestrial who comes to Earth from the planet Ork in a small, one-Orkan egg-shaped spaceship and Pam Dawber as Mindy McConnell, his human friend and roommate, and later his wife and the mother of his child. Nanu nanu (pronounced NAH-noo NAH-noo), also variously spelled Na-nu Na-nu, Na-No Na-No, and Nanoo Nanoo, is the typical Orkan greeting. Its usage is similar to the Hawaiian word “aloha,” which may be used as both a greeting and a farewell since Mork also uses the phrase in his weekly mental reports to Orson.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
