Nothing to Fear is the second studio album by American new wave band Oingo Boingo, released in 1982 on A&M. The record possesses a more hard-edged sound than the band’s previous releases, featuring louder electric guitar and percussion, an increased and more varied use of synthesizers, and the introduction of sequencers on some tracks. The songs also feature an unorthodox range of instruments, some of which were designed and built by the band. Despite continuous condemnation from critics, Nothing to Fear received high regional sales and radio airplay at the time of its release, selling 125,000 copies in its original run. Danny Elfman used the critic’s negativity to the band’s advantage, publicity, stating: “The music the critics like is inspirationless and contrived. If we start getting praise from this clique of six or eight reviewers, we’d probably have to evaluate where we went astray.”

Sizing

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
