White Motor Company was an American truck manufacturer based in Cleveland, Ohio, in existence from 1900 to 1980. The company started out manufacturing everything from bicycles to sewing machines, but after WWI, began focusing on trucks, selling off, or simply eliminating unrelated legacy lines. Not long after changing focus, the company was soon responsible for selling 10 percent of all trucks made in the U.S. Although White produced all sizes of trucks from light delivery to heavy semis, the decision was made after WWII to produce only heavy truck lines. During the Vietnam Era, the company held a spot in the Top 100 Defense Contractors list. White was engaged in production, inspection, engineering services, and maintenance of thousands of military/utility cargo trucks M39, M44, M600, and M602 series trucks, as well as spare parts, such as cylinder heads, diesel, and gasoline engines with accessories. White acquired several other truck manufacturing companies to grow the company post-Vietnam, but a series of unfavorable acquisitions and mergers left the company insolvent by 1980, bringing the firm’s 80-year legacy to an end.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
