Here’s a photo of Steve Perry performing with Journey back in 1980. The rock band had formed in 1973, seven years prior to this show. It composed of a hodgepodge of former members of Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch. Since then, the band has undergone multiple changes in members, but their most commercially successful period was between 1978 and 1987. This is the time frame in which they released hits like “Loving Touching, Squeezing” (1979), “Don’t Stop Believin'” (1981), and “Any way You Want It” (1981). h/t >
