Century Enterprises was owned by Ronnie Nunes and Jim Jennings and made a variety of custom hot rod and motorcycle parts, but really specialized in those for Harley-Davidson Sportster models. Additionally, they manufactured the original springers and frames to spec for Arlen Ness which he sold under his trade-name. Century’s own designs played a large part in what would later be known as the ‘NorCal style’ early ’70s choppers that would gain popularity far beyond the Bay Area market. In later years, Century slowly phased out making bike parts, moving on to focus on hot rod and dragster work. Their fork and frame building business was taken over by Jim Davis, who was famous in his own right for his dragster chassis work.
