This rad lifted Baja Bug was scanned out of an old Hot VWs Magazine and included the following caption: “Chip Lane drives this high-riding Baja, but rarely off the street. With its 33 in.-tall mud tires, body lift kit, driving lights, and other off-road accouterments, most folk would assume that this clean machine was on its way to the Mojave Desert, but no. Chip’s idea of fun is looking down on all-American muscle cars at the Saturday-night cruise. Different Volks for different folks, that’s the name of the game in the USA.” It’s a cool ride, but come on man, you didn’t at least get it out on the mellow trails?!
