In addition to his successful solo career, Phil Collins had immense success as the drummer and lead singer of the rock band Genesis. Collins scored three UK and seven US number-one singles in his solo career, and he managed to have more US Top 40 singles than any other artist during the 1980s. Now he’s one of the world’s best-selling artists; one of only two recording artists who have sold over 100 million records worldwide (both as solo artist and as a band member).
