When The Muscle Car Era Was Over…

I remember back in the late ’80s you’d drive by these independent used car dealers that specialized in muscle cars, and the lots would be just loaded with awesomeness. The muscle car era was over, and even those that kept the fire burning a while long were moving on and selling their cars. There was one in Lake City, north of Seattle, that was where us teens would go to drool over the inventory late at night. Nothing on the lot was bone stock, as everything had varying levels of customization and modification, but the prices were right. On the low end, there were killer looking drivers that were as low as $2,500, and on the high end there were pro street runners for $7,500. Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, Novas, Chargers, El Caminos, Galaxys, and even some custom vans and 4×4 trucks in the mix… wish I had a time machine.
