Frisco or NorCal style choppers had stretched forks with no rake to lift the bike up off the ground, paired with high controls to enable you to lean the bike farther over. They utilized flat-bottomed King Sportster tanks for higher capacity, with the bung relocated at the back of the tank, so the gas runs to it when you park it facing uphill, and also so you get every drop out of the tank. Narrow tank and bars to facilitate lane splitting. These were purpose driven bikes meant to be ridden hard and lived on, so everything was stripped off that didn’t need to be on them. This exaggerated example has a much longer fork than most, but that makes it all the more cool.
