Taco Bout Love

I think we can all agree; tacos are supreme, but what has caused this mass hysteria over a crunchy shell filled with savory meats, fresh vegetables, and flavorful sauces, aside from its obviously overwhelming deliciousness? Well, to answer this question, we need to go to the beginning. In the lake area of the Valley of Mexico lived an ancient tribe who would fill their taco shells with small fresh fish. Others believe that the taco originated in the Mexican silver mines, where the miners would eat tacos since it was so easy to bring it with them from home.
