Bronco Busting

“Fighting to remain in the driver’s seat is Steve Rook, who appears much like a rodeo cowboy taking his chances on a bucking bronco while going over a makeshift ramp youngsters constructed to imitate stunts of the daredevil motorcyclist Evel Knievel.”

That was the caption that accompanied this newspaper featured photo. Pretty sure the only things Steve busted that day were his balls as there is no escaping the wrath of the banana seat when a stunt jump goes wrong, and this one very much did.
