Design Description

Wine coolers trace their roots to the classic wine spritzer, a refreshing drink made by mixing wine with carbonated water—a combination that has been enjoyed since the 19th century. Homemade versions often blended inexpensive white wine with lemon-lime soda, but by the early 1980s, ready-to-drink wine coolers had flooded store shelves in an ever-growing assortment of fruity flavors. Unlike today's flavored malt beverages, these originals were made with real white wine, carbonated water, and fruit flavorings, making them an instant hit with consumers. The party came to an abrupt halt in January 1991 when Congress increased the federal excise tax on wine five-fold. Overnight, producing wine-based coolers became far less profitable, prompting manufacturers to reformulate their products using malt liquor instead of wine. The shift marked the beginning of the flavored malt beverage era, and without the challenge of balancing flavors with white wine, companies began experimenting with even bolder, sweeter, and more outrageous flavor combinations. Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size. All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
