Design Description
Rock Against Reagan was a series of politically charged punk rock protest concerts staged during the early 1980s in opposition to President Ronald Reagan and his administration’s conservative policies. Organized largely by activists associated with the anarchist punk band Millions of Dead Cops (MDC) and the broader Rock Against Reagan network, the shows combined loud, confrontational music with antiwar activism, free speech, and grassroots politics. The movement reached one of its most memorable moments in 1984, when Rock Against Reagan events were organized around the Republican National Convention in Dallas and other political gatherings, bringing together punk bands, activists, and protesters in a deliberately chaotic counterpoint to mainstream campaign rallies. Bands associated with the events included MDC, the Dead Kennedys, D.O.A., the Crucifucks, and others from the American hardcore underground. More than just concerts, the Rock Against Reagan shows embodied the intensely political side of early-'80s punk, channeling anger over nuclear weapons, U.S. foreign policy, economic inequality, and the growing influence of the religious right into music, protest, and DIY activism.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
