Claude Alexander Conlin (June 30, 1880 – August 5, 1954), better known by stage names including Alexander, C. Alexander, Alexander the Crystal Seer, and Alexander the Man Who Knows, was an American vaudeville magician, mentalist, and spiritual author who launched his performing career in 1915. Instantly recognizable in elaborate Oriental-inspired robes and a feathered turban, he captivated audiences with crystal ball readings, mind-reading demonstrations, and theatrical displays of psychic ability. Beyond the stage, Alexander offered private consultations that further enhanced his mystique and helped build a considerable fortune. Behind the carefully crafted persona, however, was a life filled with controversy. Over the years, the FBI compiled a substantial file on Alexander, investigating allegations that ranged from fraud, grand larceny, and money laundering to drug smuggling and even suspected involvement in murder, though many of the accusations were never proven in court. His personal life was equally sensational. Married as many as 14 times—sometimes to multiple women simultaneously—Alexander developed a reputation as a serial philanderer who freely exploited his celebrity and charismatic image, making him one of the most colorful and enigmatic entertainers of the early 20th century. Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size. All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
