Design Description
Fantastic Planet (French: La Planète sauvage) is a surreal 1973 animated science-fiction film produced as a collaboration between French and Czechoslovak filmmakers. Based on Stefan Wul’s 1957 novel Oms en série, the film takes place on a bizarre alien world where enormous blue humanoids known as Draags keep tiny human beings, called Oms, as pets while regarding the rest as troublesome wild animals. Through its strange cutout animation, psychedelic imagery, and allegorical story, Fantastic Planet explores themes of oppression, prejudice, cruelty, and coexistence. In the United States, it became the first animated feature to receive a PG rating, and its animated appearance reportedly led some unsuspecting parents to assume it was suitable children’s fare. Those kids instead encountered one of the strangest animated films of the era, filled with unsettling creatures, mature themes, and surreal imagery capable of lingering in the memory long after the credits rolled.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
