The Carpenters were an American pop duo consisting of siblings Karen and Richard Carpenter, whose polished, melodic sound became one of the most recognizable of the 1970s. Their music paired Karen’s warm contralto vocals with Richard’s talents as an arranger, composer, pianist, and harmony vocalist, creating a distinctive blend of soft rock and sophisticated pop. During their 14-year career, the Carpenters released ten studio albums, numerous singles, and several television specials. They scored three No. 1 and five No. 2 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, along with 15 No. 1 hits on the Adult Contemporary chart and a total of 12 Top 10 singles. With more than 90 million records sold worldwide, the Carpenters remain one of the most successful pop acts of their era.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat, and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt lying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1 inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
