Design Description
The Bultaco motorcycle company was born in May 1958 after a dramatic split within the Spanish manufacturer Montesa. Francesc “Paco” Bultó, a key Montesa director and passionate advocate for motorcycle racing, clashed with fellow executive Pere Permanyer during an economic downturn that followed the company’s move to larger facilities. While Permanyer wanted to cut costs by abandoning racing, Bultó believed competition was essential to innovation and the soul of the brand. Unable to reach an agreement, Bultó left Montesa, and much of the company’s racing department soon followed. Encouraged by former Montesa engineers eager to continue racing, Bultó founded a new company under primitive conditions at a family farm. On March 24, 1959, Bultaco unveiled its first motorcycle, the 125cc Tralla 101, and just two months later the new brand stunned the Spanish Grand Prix by claiming seven of the top ten finishing spots. Though Bultaco built successful road bikes, the company became legendary for its off-road machines, including the Pursang motocrosser, the Matador enduro bike, the Astro flat-tracker, and especially the Sherpa T trials motorcycle, which revolutionized observed trials competition during the 1960s.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
