Founded in 1890 by Lawrence Fabacher as the Jackson Bohemian Brewery, Jackson Brewing Company grew from a local New Orleans brewery into one of the South's most recognizable beer producers. Over the years, the company adopted the names Jax Beer and eventually Jackson Brewing Company, honoring both President Andrew Jackson and the city's famed Jackson Square. Thanks to the popularity of Jax Beer, the brewery expanded into the largest brewing operation in the South and was one of only two New Orleans breweries to survive Prohibition. Brewing operations continued until 1974, after which the massive French Quarter brewery was preserved and transformed into a mixed-use complex of shops, restaurants, and residences. Today, the former brewery remains one of New Orleans' most recognizable landmarks and a lasting reminder of the city's rich brewing heritage.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
