Design Description
Marvin “Marv” Heemeyer had been in the muffler business since the late 1970s, operating a successful shop in Boulder, Colorado, before deciding he wanted a quieter, more rural lifestyle. In March 1992, he sold his Boulder business and purchased 27 acres in neighboring Grand County, complete with a small cabin. He also acquired a two-acre property in nearby Granby, where he opened Mountain View Muffler that summer. Heemeyer’s skill quickly earned him the nickname “Marv the Muffler Man,” and he was reportedly capable of replacing a muffler in just 20 minutes. Despite establishing a successful trade in Granby, Heemeyer became embroiled in a series of increasingly bitter disputes with local officials and neighboring property owners. By 2002, the mounting conflicts had effectively brought Mountain View Muffler to an end, setting the stage for the events that would make Heemeyer infamous two years later when he unleashed his 'killdozer' on the town in an attempt to specifically target those who wronged him.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
