Design Description
The Dead Boys’ 1977 debut stands as one of punk rock’s all-time great albums, which made following it up a daunting task. Convinced the band had commercial potential, their label brought in Felix Pappalardi to produce the 1978 follow-up, We Have Come for Your Children. Best known as the bassist for Mountain, Pappalardi was tasked with reining in the Dead Boys and smoothing out their ragged edges in hopes of making them more accessible. Unfortunately, he succeeded a little too well, stripping away much of the raw energy and menace that had made the band so exciting in the first place. The sessions quickly became contentious and were eventually halted when the Dead Boys became convinced that Pappalardi simply didn’t understand their music. Attempts to bring in another producer and salvage the recordings went nowhere, leaving the band with an album they were largely unhappy with. We Have Come for Your Children was ultimately released as it was, and the Dead Boys broke up not long afterward.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
