The Pipeline Masters was a professional surfing competition held at the legendary Banzai Pipeline on Oahu's North Shore in Hawaii. Held on December 17, 2000, the 30th anniversary even delivered thrilling, high-quality waves throughout the contest window, and allowed the world's best big wave surfers to really do their thing. Often referred to as the Mountain Dew Pipeline Masters, or part of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, it featured intense matchups among the world's top surfers, including a standout quarterfinal where Andy Irons upset Kelly Slater before falling to the eventual champion. In the final, Rob Machado (USA) claimed victory over Michael Lowe (Australia) with exceptional tube-riding and a perfect 10-point ride that sealed his win in pumping, barrel-heavy conditions. This triumph at one of surfing's most prestigious and dangerous venues stood out as a career highlight for Machado after years on the pro tour, capping a memorable edition of the iconic Hawaiian event.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
