If you grew up in the Bothell ares of Washington State, you’re probably familiar with Bill’s Dairy, a 30-acre farm that sat along Interstate 405, at Northeast 160th Street for nearly 60-years. Norwegian immigrant Knut Knutsen started out in 1904 by taking his cow around Seattle’s Capitol Hill and milking it door to door, eventually making enough money to buy land for the land in Bothell in 1936. Soon the Knutsens were raising their own cows and goats, bottling their own milk and selling it around the Eastside. Bill’s Dairy was among the first dairies in the area to pasteurize milk, eventually serving more than 1,000 customers, including local schools and grocery stores. In addition to commercial accounts, Bill’s Dairy offered both drive through pickup right at the farm and delivery for residential customers, all of whom swore that milk from Bill’s Dairy was the best around. Customers stayed loyal to the dairy until the very end in 1996, as encroaching development and sky-high property taxes made the continued operation of the dairy near impossible.

Sizing
Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.

*Heather colors are 52% combed and ring-spun cotton/48% polyester. Athletic and Black Heather is 90% combed and ring-spun cotton/10% polyester. Ash color is 99% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton and 1% poly. **Due to the nature of the printing process and different sizes of shirts offered, imprint position and scale may vary slightly from the product images, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible.
