Clyde’s Place 1973 F/B Vintage Men’s T-Shirt

Clyde’s Place opened its doors in 1973 and quickly became one of the Inland Empire’s rowdiest night spots. Popular with bikers and those who enjoy the company of bikers, Clyde’s rather rural location and two-acre lot in what was then the outskirts of Riverside provided ample opportunity for rambunctious motorcycle-based entertainment ranging from games of weenie bite to straight-up burnout contests. Of course, all this debauchery wasn’t without its problems. The bar had its share of attention from police, most of which was alcohol-related (duh), but there was also no shortage of violence – mostly fistfights, but also a few stabbings… and some shootings, several of which were fatal. The violence was largely related to rival motorcycle clubs and despite being packed every night of the week, after a solid ten-year run, local law enforcement was happy to see Clyde throw in the towel after a large shoot-out took place between several gangs and police. Nonetheless, Clyde’s was all about the good times which far outweighed the bad, so here’s to you, Clyde! This two-sided design includes both front and back prints!

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.

*Heather colors are 52% combed and ring-spun cotton/48% polyester. Athletic and Black Heather is 90% combed and ring-spun cotton/10% polyester. Ash color is 99% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton and 1% poly. **Due to the nature of the printing process and different sizes of shirts offered, imprint position and scale may vary slightly from the product images, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible.
