You could say that Jimmy & Andy’s Bar & Grill ( J & A’s) was a dive as it was smoky, low-key, and highly affordable. You could also call it a sports bat as the TVs are always tuned to the game, and if a St. Louis team is playing, pitchers were just $5. Just don’t call it your typical Central West End nightspot, because J & A’s was most certainly not that. This was a place for drinkers who like to drink and sports fans who like to watch the Cards and there’s nothing wrong with that. While there was a full menu, it was more of a convenience than the reason why people came here. J & A’s was the neighborhood’s most welcoming watering hole, filled with amicable bartenders and animated patrons. J & A’s claims to be the city’s oldest bar, hosting an STL liquor license since 1936. They also claimed that Al Capone was once a regular, but who knows? J & A’s was a great place to kick back with a cheap drink on a lazy day and the Central West End lost a legend when they quietly closed their doors and cleaned the place out in the dead of night, so raise a glass to Jimmy & Andy and remember the good times.

Sizing
Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.

*Heather colors are 52% combed and ring-spun cotton/48% polyester. Athletic and Black Heather is 90% combed and ring-spun cotton/10% polyester. Ash color is 99% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton and 1% poly. **Due to the nature of the printing process and different sizes of shirts offered, imprint position and scale may vary slightly from the product images, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible.
