Description
Just down the street from world-famous Sun Record Studios, sat a no-frills music lounge by the name of ‘Kudzu’s Bar & Deli’ which appeared to be frozen in time long before its opening in 1990. Not sure how the deli thing worked, but they thankfully dropped that idea, though it remained on the exterior wall for decades to come. While primarily a music venue that showcased local and national touring acts, Kudzu’s was also a full-service bar and grill offering some surprisingly good food and top-shelf drinks for a place that was without question a dive bar. Photos, clippings, and other music memorabilia covered the walls upstairs, and the sketchy looking basement is populated with a pool table and jukebox, but the real draw was the nightly punk, bluegrass, blues, and rock bands that took the stage and rocked the house. After the large Wonder Bread plant down the street closed in 2013, Kudzu’s nighttime business held steady, but the bar’s daytime traffic all but dried up which ultimately led to their closing later that year. This design is centered around a killer Gretsch Brian Setzer Hot Rod guitar that makes no mistake as to what Kudzu’s was all about.

Sizing
Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.

*Heather colors are 52% combed and ring-spun cotton/48% polyester. Athletic and Black Heather is 90% combed and ring-spun cotton/10% polyester. Ash color is 99% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton and 1% poly. **Due to the nature of the printing process and different sizes of shirts offered, imprint position and scale may vary slightly from the product images, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible.
