Olde English 800 1964 Vintage Women’s T-Shirt

“Michael Hagan’s idea of a good time is to guzzle a few bottles of Olde English 800 Malt Liquor and smoke PCP with his fellow gang members in the slums of south-central Los Angeles. There is no telling what might happen.” This is the first line of an August 1987 Time magazine story called Life And Death With the Gangs. Olde English 800 is a brand of American malt liquor that was introduced in 1964 and has remained popular throughout its production, though not exactly for it’s great taste – in 2010, the 3.2% ABW version of Olde English was rated one of “the worst beers in the world” by RateBeer, a beer rating website. As a malt liquor, it has a high alcohol content in comparison to traditional beers, so for people wanting to get loaded on a budget, it’s high on the list of options. It is available in a variety of serving sizes including the popular 40-ounce bottle and while primarily popular with the inner city crowd, well-to-do college kids have been known to knock a few ‘Old E’s’ back as well.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. The Next Level 3900 is a fitted women’s t-shirt, so if you are looking for a roomier fit, we suggest going up a size or with the unisex Bella + Canvas 3001 we print our men’s t-shirts on as they are the same super soft ring-spun cotton that feels like an old favorite. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
