Pink Pussycat Hollywood 1961 Vintage Men’s T-Shirt

In 1961 when Alice Schiller’s husband told her that he wanted to convert their nightclub into a striptease joint, she burst into tears. After she dried her eyes, she decided that if she was going to run a strip club, she would make it the classiest one in Los Angeles, one that men would bring their wives to. So, how did Alice do that? She decided to control all aspects of the club, beginning with the ladies who are taking off their clothes. In order to have the classiest strippers, Alice created The Pink Pussycat College of Strip Tease, which ensured all of their performers were up to snuff. The Pink Pussycat ran well into the ’70s, but later became a disco as burlesque reviews started falling out of favor.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
