The Scottish Rite is a branch of Freemasonry that traces its origins to the 18th century and is known for its elaborate rituals, philosophical teachings, and distinctive system of 33 degrees. Building upon the foundations of traditional Freemasonry, the Scottish Rite explores themes of morality, personal growth, justice, and the pursuit of knowledge through allegorical ceremonies steeped in symbolism and history. Despite its name, the organization developed largely in France and later flourished in the United States, where the Supreme Council of the Southern Jurisdiction was established in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1801. Over the years, the Scottish Rite has become one of Freemasonry's most recognizable institutions, with impressive temples, historic regalia, and a longstanding commitment to charitable work, education, and community service. This particular design is from a banner or apron design as described in The Book of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite from 1885.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
