Design Description
In 1972, Mill Jennings sold his longtime gas station in Plains, Georgia, to Billy Carter, the colorful younger brother of future President Jimmy Carter. What had been an ordinary small-town service station became a national landmark four years later during the 1976 presidential campaign, when reporters covering Jimmy Carter's run for the White House turned Billy's station into their unofficial headquarters. Billy's outgoing personality and down-home charm made the station a must-visit stop for journalists and curious travelers alike. Billy sold the station to his son-in-law in 1981, and in 2008 it was preserved as the Billy Carter Museum, celebrating both the man and the unusual role his service station played in American political history. During its heyday, visitors were just as likely to find Billy greeting customers as they were to spot his well-worn step-side shop truck parked outside, proudly displaying his CB radio handle, "Cast Iron," on the doors.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
