B. F. Leaman and his son Clair got their start in the trucking business in 1913 with a single Pierce-Arrow truck hauling lime and milk throughout Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Their small operation steadily grew, and by 1930, the Leamans had acquired Mileage Motor Corporation, expanding into fuel oil transportation. In 1933, the Leaman Transportation Company was officially established, setting the stage for decades of growth. A major milestone came in 1961 when Leaman merged his two companies with Chemical Tank Lines to form Chemical Leaman Tank Lines, Inc. The newly combined operation boasted 31 terminals nationwide and a fleet of approximately 1,300 bulk tankers. That same year, the company further expanded by acquiring the routes and assets of Frank Cosgrove Transportation and Forbes Trucking. Chemical Leaman continued growing through acquisitions well into the 1990s, becoming an industry powerhouse. By 1998, the company operated the industry's largest tanker fleet and one of its most extensive transportation networks. Its specialized equipment could haul just about anything, including chemicals, petroleum, food-grade liquids, compressed natural gas, hot asphalt, agricultural products, water, and pneumatic dry bulk materials. The fleet even included compartmentalized tankers capable of transporting multiple types of cargo in a single trip.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
