Design Description
Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane—better known as DDT—is a colorless, nearly odorless organochloride compound first synthesized in 1874 by Austrian chemist Othmar Zeidler. Its remarkable insecticidal properties weren't discovered until decades later, and by the mid-1940s DDT had become widely available in the United States for agricultural, industrial, and household pest control. Despite its popularity, concerns about its potential health and environmental impacts emerged almost immediately. In response, manufacturers launched upbeat advertising campaigns to reassure the public, including Pennsalt Chemicals' memorable "DDT Is Good For Me-e-e!" campaign, which featured cheerful print ads and radio jingles praising the pesticide. As scientific evidence of DDT's persistence in the environment and its harmful effects on wildlife continued to mount, federal regulators began restricting its use throughout the 1950s and 1960s. The EPA ultimately banned nearly all uses of DDT in the United States in 1972, making it one of the most controversial chemicals in modern environmental history.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
