Design Description
Horlicks University is a fictional college that appears in the Stephen King multiverse and various horror stories. The Ivy League–style institution first appeared in “The Crate” segment of Creepshow and returned in “The Raft” segment of Creepshow 2, where the four ill-fated students are identified as Horlicks students. The school has also popped up in several Stephen King stories and novels, along with a handful of non-King works, usually as a playful Easter egg for horror fans. This design is inspired by the memorable Horlicks University shirt worn by the girls in “The Raft,” giving a subtle nod to one of the most recognizable fictional schools in the Creepshow universe. Characters or references tied to the university pop up in stories like The Raft (from Skeleton Crew), Christine, and From a Buick. The marked shipping crate from Horlicks University also makes cameo appearances as an Easter egg in other horror films like Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
