Kemper was a Canadian snowboard manufacturer founded by David Kemper, who began handcrafting snowboards in his Ontario garage in 1983. As interest in the sport exploded, his boards quickly gained a following through word of mouth, leading to the official launch of Kemper in 1987. Known for their bold graphics and unmistakable '80s styling, Kemper boards stood out on the slopes and helped define the era's snowboard aesthetic. Rapid growth prompted the company to open a factory in Montreal in 1988 before moving production to Austria in 1990 to meet worldwide demand. Kemper's lineup expanded to include freestyle, park, powder, and splitboards, cementing its place among the industry's biggest names. Although the brand entered the 1990s at the height of its popularity, David Kemper sold the company in 1992. After changing hands again in 1994, Kemper ultimately ceased operations in 1996, leaving behind a legacy as one of snowboarding's most iconic early brands.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
