Lorimar Productions was founded in 1969 by Irwin Molasky, Merv Adelson, and Lee Rich, launching the company with a $185,000 loan provided by Adelson. The studio's name combined that of Adelson’s wife, Lori, with Palomar Airport in San Diego, creating the distinctive "Lorimar" brand. The company initially focused on producing made-for-television movies, but soon shifted its attention to episodic television. That decision paid off in a big way when The Waltons debuted in 1972 and became a ratings powerhouse. Building on that success, Lorimar emerged as one of television's most influential production companies throughout the 1970s and 1980s, creating hit series such as Eight Is Enough, Falcon Crest, Knots Landing, and, most famously, Dallas. The studio continued to expand into sitcoms, animated programming, and other ventures during the late 1980s and early 1990s before ultimately being acquired and absorbed into a larger entertainment conglomerate, bringing the Lorimar name to an end while leaving behind a remarkable television legacy.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
