Design Description

Mighty Max was a 1992 UK toyline from Bluebird Toys featuring miniature horror-themed adventure playsets aimed mainly at boys. Following the Polly Pocket model of compact, portable playsets with miniature figures and accessories, Mighty Max traded shopping malls and pink apartments for cursed mummy tombs and frozen aliens. The main sets, called “Doom Zones,” opened to reveal small scenes with monsters and the hero Max—a blond kid in jeans, a white shirt with a red “M,” and a cap. Smaller “Horror Heads” were creature-shaped heads that opened to show tiny figures. Larger, less portable sets later expanded the line with more accessories and play features. The franchise also spawned a TV series and a video game, though neither matched the toys’ popularity.

The Mighty Max backstory is pretty straight forward: "Max was bright and pretty good at getting in and out of trouble, but he'd never forget the day he broke his mom's mysterious old statue and found the Cosmic Cap inside. How was he to know it made him 'the Mighty One,' able to travel instantly from place to place by means of time portals? And how were Max, his Cosmic Cap and his two friends and protectors, wise old Virgil and fearless Norman gonna' measure up against the ultimate evil of the Skull Master!!? Stumbling from one terrifying adventure to another with only cryptic clues to help him escape... he was all alone. He was scared. But he was MIGHTY MAX, and he'd get back somehow!"  Product Details

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size. All sizes are provided in inches!
