Nothing to Fear is the second studio album by American new wave band Oingo Boingo, released by A&M Records in 1982. Compared with the band’s earlier work, the album pushed toward a harder, more aggressive sound, with heavier electric guitars and percussion alongside a broader use of synthesizers and the introduction of sequencers on several tracks. Its eccentric arrangements also incorporated an assortment of unconventional instruments, including some designed and built by members of the band themselves. Despite a largely hostile reception from contemporary critics, Nothing to Fear found a receptive audience, particularly through strong regional sales and radio airplay, and reportedly sold around 125,000 copies during its original run. Frontman Danny Elfman seemed happy to wear the bad reviews as a badge of honor, arguing that praise from the same critics who dismissed the band might have been a better reason to worry about where Oingo Boingo was headed. Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size. All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
