Design Description
To the Aztecs, certain psychoactive mushrooms were known as teonanácatl, a Nahuatl term commonly translated as “flesh of the gods” or “divine flesh.” These mushrooms held an important place in ritual and ceremonial life, where they were consumed to induce altered states associated with visions, divination, spiritual communication, and religious revelation. Early Spanish chroniclers described mushroom ceremonies involving feasting, music, dancing, and visionary experiences, although their accounts were often filtered through a strongly hostile Christian perspective toward Indigenous religion. Following the Spanish conquest, colonial authorities attempted to suppress the ceremonial use of teonanácatl along with many other traditional practices, but mushroom rituals survived in various forms among Indigenous communities in Mexico.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
