Design Description
Anyone who has lived in western Washington knows that outdoor water parks and the Pacific Northwest climate aren't exactly a perfect match. With only a few reliably warm months each year, keeping a sprawling water park profitable was always going to be an uphill battle. Even so, developers took the plunge in 1984 with the opening of Waterworks Park in Issaquah. Located near the southern end of Lake Sammamish just off Interstate 90, the park boasted more than a mile of waterslides, a wave pool, and what it proudly billed as the Northwest's largest hot tub. Built atop a massive mound of excavated earth from Seattle's Mount Baker Tunnel project, the park occupied what was essentially an artificial hill. As development rapidly transformed the surrounding area into a major business district, the land became far more valuable than the seasonal attraction itself. Waterworks Park closed and was demolished in 1988, making its brief four-year run a memorable footnote in Washington's amusement park history.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
