Before it became one of the most recognizable prime-time TV shows of its era, Fantasy Island was introduced to viewers through two made-for-television films, in 1977 and 1978. The series that followed aired on Saturday nights after The Love Boat from January 28, 1978, to May 19, 1984. Set on a mysterious tropical island, the series followed the enigmatic host Mr. Roarke and his loyal assistant Tattoo as they welcomed guests who arrived seeking to live out their deepest fantasies—whether for adventure, romance, revenge, or redemption. Each episode explored how these dreams often came with unexpected consequences, turning the show into a blend of drama, fantasy, and moral storytelling. Known for its iconic opening scene featuring Tattoo excitedly shouting “De plane! De plane!” as visitors arrived, Fantasy Island combined escapism with life lessons and remains an icon of '80s television.

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
